Slow Cook in Reader Express

Today's online edition of Reader Express, the Washington Post's free tabloid, quotes The Slow Cook on the subject of China executing its former chief of food safety.

Ed, your posts about China's food have been informative, worrying - and now, today, humane. Although you are mainly dealing with the impact on the US, this is something that affects us all, wherever we live. I've tried today to get information from the British government's DEFRA website, which is supposed to be where we go for information about the food we eat in the UK. It's impossible to find anything meaningful about how much Chinese food is imported, at least with a casual search. I shall have to get serious.
