The Culinary School Guide has selected The Slow Cook as one of the 100 top "food blogs for foodies."
We're listed in the "Healthy and Green" category with the following citation:
"Not every entry on this blog is about health food, but it does discourage the eating of fast food and pre-packaged meals. Instead, you’ll find advice on how to cook meals the old fashioned way."
Thanks, Culinary School Guide. We are proud to be old-fashioned. The way the economy is headed, we think the rest of the country might be headed in our direction.
Turn your front yard into a garden, everyone!

Congratulations! I may not comment often but I've got you on Google Reader and I agree with the Culinary School Guide!
Top 100? You are in the top 20 on my computer.
Congrats! but why are you one of SO FEW foodies who grow their own?
I disagree with their contention "Not every entry on this blog is about health food..." If it's homegrown or locally grown, wildcrafted or harvested in a way that cares for the health of the land, it is health food.
Congratulations!
Congratulations, Ed, and keep up the good work. A tip of the toque to you!
Congratulations! Eat local and healthy and win awards. Quite a combo.
They would be lucky to head in your direction Ed!
