Breakfast

Leftover Basmati brown rice, Brussels sprouts, and Savory cabbage with parsley and chives from the garden. Season with salt, pepper, red wine vinegar.

Preparation time: 5 minutes

Shopping: none

The wife admonishes against eating Brassicas shortly before leaving the house to meet with friends....

Joanno, ditto for this household. Everyone holds her nose when I start cooking in the morning.


Janet, what can I say? I just love clearning out the fridge. We always seem to have so much good stuff in there. I think we live largely off the leavings from personal chefing, the garden and the CSA box. We hardly shop for ourselves any more.
